A releasable coupling between a tractor and a detachable front loader fastened to an attachment is described. The attachment is provided on each side of the tractor with a jaw-like bearing receptacle which points essentially to the rear against the travelling direction and for coupling comprises in each case a supporting journal on the tractor side and can be closed by means of a locking element provided in the attachment, in each case a supporting journal and a locking element interacting automatically like a latch for producing the connection between tractor and front loader.
