The invention relates to the design of window or door frames for caravans, campers or the like and has the aim of avoiding the production of such window frames from a plurality of individual parts, by making said production substantially cheaper by shortening the assembly time and in addition of providing the basis by which other parts such as roller blinds and a fly net can also be integrated into the window frame. This object is achieved according to the invention by means of an exterior frame which surrounds the outside of the caravan wall at the window edge, an interior frame which surrounds the inner surface of the caravan wall at the window edge and a plug-in or clip connection arranged at the sides of the two frames lying opposite one another and engaging in one another.
