Manufacture of building panel metal plastic laminates

Manufacture of a laminated building panel, e.g. a hard foam plastic core within outer metal sheets such as aluminium foil, the improvement comprising the use of an apparatus of generally known type in which the unheated plastic plate is held in a fixed position between two vertically reciprocating holding members which can be strongly heated e.g. to 100-200 C, each of which supports one of the metal sheets to be laminated and is heated only by heat transfer from the holding members, a laying of adhesive being applied to each face of the plastic core and/or to the faces of the metal sheets turned towards the core.
