Setting out from the object of simplifying the circuitry of remote register adjustment in a control system for remote register adjustment, wherein an adjusting motor which can be operated by a remote control unit is assigned respectively to the axial and radial adjusting device, and there is arranged downstream of the remote control unit, comprising a printing unit selection device, selection keys for the axial and radial adjusting unit, a device for numerical adjusting value input, adjusting direction and deletion and start key, via a data bus per printing unit in each case an axial and radial adjusting unit containing an adjusting motor and comprising an information selection circuit connected to the data bus, a counter group arranged downstream of the information selection circuit and upstream of a display unit, whose inputs are connected to a pulse generator and an actuating control which is connected on the input side to the data bus of the display unit and of the information selection circuit and on the output side via a circuit amplifier to the adjusting motor.
