The energy problem necessitates the further development of known heat pump engineering, and it has also been necessary for this purpose to include the heating pipe in this technology. In the known simple design, the efficiency is too low, and it is only a separation of the evaporation and condensation processes that renders a higher efficiency possible, chiefly due to the fact that larger heat exchanger surfaces are possible - by the use of balls. Furthermore, these balls reduce the flow resistance and facilitate a more intense heat exchange.
