发明名称 OPERATING METHOD FOR BLAST FURNACE
摘要 PURPOSE:To control the heat of a blast furnace by increasing or decreasing the rate of blowing of fine powder of iron oxide to be blown through the tuyeres of the blast furnace thereby stabilizing the fluctuations in the heat of the blast furnace in a short time without degrading the efficiency of the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION:Iron oxide contg. >=50% iron oxide having <=1mm. grain sizes is suspended in a carrier gas such as compressed air and is blown through the tuyeres of a blast furnace through injection nozzles. The heat of the blast furnace is controlled by increasing or decreasing the rate of blowing of said iron oxide. The iron oxide reacts in two stages of direct reduction which is endothermic reaction and indirect reduction which is exothermic reaction in the furnace, and the rate of said two reactions is changed by increasing or decreasing the rate of blowing of said iron oxide, whereby the furnace heat is controlled. Iron ore, mill scale, etc. are used as said iron oxide, and if the particles having <=1mm. grain sizes are below 50%, the speed of reduction is low and sufficient controlling is not effected; therefore it is necessary to contain said particles at >=50%.
