Stapling tool

A stapling tool is proposed, which can be used both as a table unit and as a gripping unit without the need for conversion. This stapling tool (1) has a rigid lower part (2) with a slot (4) into which the sheets to be stapled together are inserted. Fitted into the lower part (2) is an upper part (3) which is pivotable about an axis located in the vicinity of the slot (4). The stapling of sheets is performed by inserting the latter by their edges into the slot (4) and pressing together the lower and upper parts (2, 3) at their ends facing away from the slot (4). <IMAGE>
