PURPOSE:To permit remote measurement and improve the measurement accuracy by immersing two buoys each having different buoyancy into electrolyte and installing the pressure sensing part which receives the buoyancy of said buoy, in a storage battery equipped with an electrolyte metering device. CONSTITUTION:The captioned storage battery consisits of a battery enclosure 1, battery elements 2, electrolyte 3, and an electrolyte metering device 4, as shown in the figure. The electrolyte metering device 4 is equipped with a buoy 7a which has a large buoyancy and consists of a buoy body 5a and an indicating rod 6a, a buoy 7b which possesses a small buoyancy and consists of a buoy body 5b and an indicating rod 6b, guide sleeves 8a and 8b which guide the indicating rods 6a and 6b of the buoys 7a and 7b respectively, and the pressure sensing parts 9a and 9b which make contact with the top edges of the indicating rods 6a and 6b and are always applied with the pressing forces by the buoys 7a and 7b. The signals from the pressure sensing parts 9a and 9b are transmitted to give proper indication instruction to the indication part 12 through an amplifier 10 and a calculator 11. |
