PURPOSE:To display a stereoscopical submarine topography, by storing submarine sectional images obtained repeatedly at intervals of a certain time and extracting submarine images successively to convert them into line drawings and displaying images converted line drawings on the same screen successively in different colors while shifting them. CONSTITUTION:Only submarine images are read out successively from picture data stored in a submarine sectional image storing circuit 5 and are converted to submarine line drawings in a line drawing converting circuit 6. Each submarine line drawing is set to a required level in a display color setting circuit 7 and is stored in a stereoscopical image storing circuit 8, and picture data is read out successively, and set levels are converted to different color signals in a coloring circuit 9 and are displayed on a CRT display 10. A shift circuit 12 makes levels of respective picture data different from one another together with the display color setting circuit 7 to store them in the stereoscopical image storing circuit 8 for the purpose of distinguishing picture data from one another. This shift operation of picuture data is repeated, and picture data overflowed from the stereoscipical image storing circuit 8 is erased successively by an overflow image erasing circuit 13. This operation is repeated to display a sub- marine topography stereoscopically. |
