A safety valve having an outlet flow line connected to an outlet (14) is intended to be used at the same time for draining the system, without the draining taking place via the actual safety valve (18/28). An assembly housing (24) having a valve seating body (20) can be partially screwed out of a basic housing (10). At the same time, a shut-off valve (34) is opened, which opens a connection from the inlet (12) to the outlet (14), via an annular gap of relatively large diameter.
