Monitoring device for electrical lines

In a line network with transmitters to indicate operating states or changes in state, both line monitoring and monitoring of the transmitters serving as measuring stations are carried out via a monitoring device. A central station is connected to the line network for this purpose, and individual line sections are formed with allocated transmitters, which have a terminal station at their termination points. Each terminal station can be controlled by the central unit and an acknowledgement is sent for line monitoring purposes and for the state of the measuring stations designed as transmitters.
