Loudspeaker enclosures, television sets and so forth are intended for acoustic reproduction. When these devices are taken into operation, the loudspeaker diaphragms generate waves or soundwaves. Loudspeaker diaphragms are in most cases integrated into wooden or plastic housings. When the diaphragm begins to work, the soundwaves are transferred to the housing and the environment and surrounding objects. To prevent this, the stand has the small support area of the hemisphere and the foam layer located underneath and the compact base of a non-transmitting material (see attached drawing). This prevents the housing resonances (extraneous resonances) from being transmitted and results in an improvement in the sound (acoustic improvement). <IMAGE>
