This element comprises at least two supporting members each consisting of a rolled metal bar (3), completely enclosed in a body (4) of cellular plastics material, these supporting bars (3) being arranged parallel or non-parallel and joined together by a web (2) consisting of a sandwich formed with a cellular plastics material (5) which may or may not be of the same kind as the material of the bodies (4) containing the bars (3) and with a skin (6) of a relatively hard plastics material, bonded and also enveloping the bodies (4) containing the bars, while means of assembly (10, 11) are provided at the ends of said supporting bars (3). <IMAGE>
