PURPOSE:To perform a proper steering operation safely by calculating the proper flow of oil to be fed to a power steering unit in accordance with the car speed and the rotating speed of a steering wheel and by controlling a solenoid flow regulating valve by means of the calculated result. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid type flow regulating valve 13 regulating the oil flow to a power steering unit 12 side is provided on an oil hydraulic pipe arrangement 17 connecting an oil pump 11 to the power steering unit 12. The flow regulating valve 13 is controlled by a controller 16. That is, the controller 16 calculates a proper oil flow to be fed to the power steering unit 12 in accordance with the car speed fed from a car speed sensor 14 and the rotating speed of the steering wheel 30 fed from a steering operation speed sensor 15, and feeds the calculated result to the solenoid type flow regulating valve 13. |
