PURPOSE:To facilitate working and to improve the quality of worked pipe by performing bending work after magnetizing ferromagnetic particles sealed in the pipe. CONSTITUTION:After packing the bent part of a pipe with ferromagnetic particles, the particles are magnetized by generating a magnetic field, and a solid body having no fluidity is formed. The pipe is bent by a plunger punch 3. After bending, particles are demagnetized to allow flowing, and taken out from the pipe 1. Thus, a bent pipe of high quality free from buckling, wrinkle and rupture can be obtained easily. |
