The electric arc control device may be applied to an arc furnace comprising at least one reaction chamber wherein at least two electrodes are arranged, a fuel injection device, optionally an other device for introducing a combustive material and optionally means for creating one or a plurality of magnetic fields in the above mentioned reaction chamber. It further comprises means for displacing the electric arc, consisting essentially in aerodynamic field generators, these fields being themselves susceptible of being speed- and/or direction-modulated. |
