PURPOSE:To implement the high speed output and the low cost device, by preparing a part of the patterns in the device in advance, loading the other patterns to the device before using, thereby reducing the kinds of the patterns. CONSTITUTION:A form information system has a pattern generator 19 and a variable pattern generator 18. The pattern generator 19 stores the patterns, which are frequently used, and generates the patterns based on code signals and the like. The patterns, which are not frequently used, are read out of a recording medium and stored in the variable pattern generator 18, every time the recording medium is mounted in a second information reading device 16. In the stored state, the pattern generator 19 is completely the same as the variable pattern generator 18. Therefore the patterns can be read by designating the pattern address and the scanning line number in accessing. |
