PURPOSE:To prevent the weld of a rim and a disc from scattering in circumferential height thereof by plastically deforming the extremity of the foot of a disc in a gradient, fitting it to the rim and executing arc welding at the resultant V-shaped hollow part defined between the rim and the foot of the disc. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate is pressed into a disc 5 and the extremity 3 of the foot of the disc is then bent into a gradient part 6. The gradient part 6 and a rim 1 are fit to each other to define a V-shaped part 7 therebetween before subjected to arc welding at the v-shaped part into one body. The disc weld may be thus prevented from scattering in circumferential height and the welding workmanship may be improved. |
