PURPOSE:To impart high durability against repeating impact forces, by winding unvulcanized silicon rubber sheets around a roll core bar under the state wherein sheeting-out directions of the unvulcanized silicon rubber sheets are crossed with each other. CONSTITUTION:The two unvulcanized silicon rubber sheets 2, whose sheeting-out has been finished, are overlapped as shown by an alternate long and two short dashes line under the state wherein the sheeting-out directions are crossed with each other. Then a pattern having a desired shape and sizes is obtained. Then the sheeting-out directions are crossed so that they are intersected with the axial direction of the roll core bar 5 so as not to intersect at a right angle. Then the sheets are wound around the roll core bar 5. Press vulcanization is performed by metal molds 6 and 7 under the state wherein the unvalcanized silicon rubber sheets are wound around the roll core bar 5. The sheets are taken out of the metal molds 6 and 7, and second vulcanization is performed. Thereafter the surface of the rubber is ground and a silicon rubber roll having the desired size is obtained. |
