CAR MOUNTED RECEIVER PROVIDED WITH DIVERSITY ANTENNA

PURPOSE:To attain stable reception, by providing a pair of antennas at left and right rear parts of a car body of a car to perform diversity reception. CONSTITUTION:Rod antennas 3, 4 such as dipole antennas are provided at left and right sides of a trunk at the rear part of a car body. The level of a reception signal at a detection circuit 17 is discriminated at a comparison circuit 18. An output of a high pass filter 24 passing through frequencies >=60kHz is detected at a detection circuit 25 and multi-path distortion is detected by discriminating the level at a comparison circuit 26. A flip-flop 20 is controlled with a logical sum signal between outputs of the comparison circuit 18 and 26, and an antenna changeover switch 10 is switched and driven with this flip-flop 20.
