PURPOSE:To link drive wheels by means of a synchro-mesh joint by pivotally mounting a carrier to a semi-trailing arm, disposing a control rod in the lateral direction of a car body and supporting it by means of the carrier and a longitudinal shaft. CONSTITUTION:The bases of a semi-trailing arm 14 are rotatably pivoted via rubber bushes to a front sub-frame 12 which is laid in the lateral direction of a car body. A carrier 8 which supports a wheel is rotatably pivoted to another end 11 of the semi-trailing arm 14 with a rod 13. One end of a control rod 20 in the lateral direction of the car body is pivoted to the carrier 8 while the other end 16 is fixed to a lateral frame and pivoted to a rear sub-frame 21 in the rotatable relation with respect to the center of a longitudinal shaft. This structure may provide the ease with which the toeing is varied and fine control under which a camber is varied, whereby both the driving wheels and the undriven wheels may be utilized and the driving wheels may be linked with a synchro- mesh joint. |
