发明名称 PICKFEED SYSTEM IN SURFACE PROFILING
摘要 PURPOSE:To perform precise and efficient machining by profiling in X-Z axes system during surface profiling operation and stopping the displacement along Z axis during pickfeed at the border of profiling surface and profiling the boundary in X-Y axes system. CONSTITUTION:A stylus 10 which profiles the surface of a recessed cone model M3 cut at the head performs a suface profiling in X-Z axes system on the bottom surface m300 and the inclined surface 30. On the top edge m3, the stylus 10 is shifted to the profiling operation from the X-Z axes system to the X-Y axes system, the displacement in the Z axis direction is clamped at the position (a), and the stylus 10 performs pickfeed on a locus epsilonp along the top edge m3. In this manner, precise and efficient profiling machining can be achieved by the minimum profiling operation, where no useless stroke portion is required, and by eliminating any excessive cutting.
