摘要 PURPOSE:To high efficiently and high accurately obtain a grinding original point, by mounting a check test piece to a chucking device, grinding the test piece with a grinding wheel and measuring the ground center of the test piece. CONSTITUTION:A grinding wheel is molded by a rotary dresser 6. Here a form center XG of the grinding wheel becomes equal to a form center XD of the rotary dresser 6. Then the molded grinding wheel 4 is used to grind a test piece 9, and a center position l1, copied to the test piece 9, is measured, then compared with a centerl position lO, set by previously measuring a jig 8, to catch a position shift DELTAl, further the dresser 6 is moved by this shift DELTAl by a fine adjustment jig 13, thus the center XG of the grinding wheel 4, that is, the center XD of the dresser 6 is aligned to the axial center XW of a ground non-spherical rotary body. In this way, a grinding original point can be attained.
