PURPOSE:To provide a radial tyre having a well cornering property by disposing a toroidal carcass which may be an organic fiber reinforced layer placed at the specified angle with respect to the circumferential face of the tyre, a belt reinforcing layer at the crown and a reinforcing layer which extends between beads. CONSTITUTION:A toroidal carcass 2 composed of a reinforcing layer of an organic fiber code which is disposed at an angle 70-90 deg. with respect to the circumferential center face of the tyre is folded at bead cores 4 and extended to the position of above both tread ends TE. A belt reinforcing layer 5 is disposed along the crown of the carcass 2, with the code thereof relatively less angled with respect to the circumferential center face of the tyre and with both ends laid over the ends of the folded carcass 2. Additionally, a reinforcing layer 6 is interposed between the carcass 2 and both the ends 3 of the folded same and extended between both the beads 4. Such arrangement may maintain the properties of a radial tyre and improve the stability of cornering drive. |
