PURPOSE:To attain the fine line processing so that an area cannot be annihilated to the area of optional size and shape by changing the constitution of first and second output means to all patterns of 3X3 image data. CONSTITUTION:A fine line circuit 3 reads successively 3X3 image data with respective picture elements of two-dimensional image data stored into an image memory 2 as a center, inputs this to a first function RAM 4, and writes the output value of the first function RAM 4 into the image memory 2 as the result value of the first fine line processing of the central picture element of the 3X3 image data. Next, the fine circuit 3 also reads successively the 3X3 image with respective picture elements of the two-dimensional image data stored in the image memory 2 as a center, inputs this to a second function RAM 5, and writes the output value into the image memory 2 as the result value of the second fine line processing of the central picture element of the 3X3 image data. |
