PURPOSE:To prevent vibration of gimbals, by providing a baffle board against an air flow from 2 directions of the upper flow side of rotation of a magnetic disk and the outside seen from the center of the magnetic disk, against a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:A moving truck 6A holds a magnetic head 3A so as to be turnable in the direction as indicated with an arrow on a horizontal plane. When the magnetic head 3A is positioned between two magnetic disks by the moving truck 6A, influence of a wind exerted on bimbals part 4 of the magnetic head 3A is small, but when recording or read advances, and the magnetic head 3A comes out to the outside circumferential edge part of a magnetic disk 1, the gimbals part 4 of the magnetic head 3A comes out of the magnetic disk 1, and is subjected to influence of air turbulence created by the magnetic disk 1. Therefore, this device is provided with a baffle board 7 against an air flow from 2 directions of the upper flow side of rotation of the magnetic disk and the outside seen from the center of the magnetic disk. In this way, vibration of the gimbals is prevented, and recording and reproducing are executed stably. |
