PURPOSE:To cause a pulse generated at a pickup coil to form a steep waveform by providing a signal projection to a steel plate cover fixed to a rotor, and separating starting and terminating ends in its turning direction from the cover to form a sheared surface. CONSTITUTION:A cover 19 made of a steel plate covering a surface of a clutch outer 12, that is, rotor main body, is fixed thereto. A part of the cover 19 is raised to the outer side to form a signal projection. A starting end surface 20a and terminating end surface 20b in the turning direction of the signal projection 20 are formed into sections separated from the cover 19. By this arrangement, the signal whose starting end surface 20a and terminating end surface 20b steeply rise, can be formed easily by press working, and the yield of the material is good. Therefore, it is possible to manufacture the signal rotor 26 at a low cost, and a pulse signal of a steep waveform due to the signal projection 20 can be generated at the pickup coil 21. |
