PURPOSE:To efficiently execute an editing work, by comparing a reel number of a register for storing each data of plural events, with a reel number of the read- out side, and displaying an error when they are different from each other. CONSTITUTION:By operating a key block 5, an editing instruction is inputted to a CPU2 through an interface 6. Among edit registers B1-Bn, that which is called to a work area A, or that which has been called is stored in a memory 4. A recording VTR9 is interfaces 20-30 through reproducing VTRs 10-19 and the CPU2. In accordance with an instruction of the CPU2, in the course of editing, a reel number of a register, stored in the memory 4 is compared with a reel number requested by the read-out side, and when a difference has been detected, an error is displayed on a display part 7. In this way, dead editing is eliminated, and operability is improved. |
