PURPOSE:To obtain a positive copy image independently of inversion development without generating a stain of a toner on a photoreceptor, by using an a-Si, which has fatigue effects to increase electric resistance by irradiation of light, for a photosensitive layer and performing prescribed operations. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer L consisting of an a-Si which has fatigue effects to increase electric resistance by irradiation of light is formed on the outside circumferential face of a conductive drum S to constitute a photoreceptor 1. While rotating the photoreceptor 1, an original image is exposed with an energy higher than a degree, where the increased electric resistance remains as fatigue, by an exposure mechanism 2. When the photosensitive layer L reaches a discharge gap G, discharge is performed between low-resistance parts, which are not irradiated with light, and an electric charge supporting material 3 by a voltage which is applied to a conductive supporting material S by a power source 10, and a positive electrostatic image is generated on the surface of the electric charge supporting material 3 and is developed with a toner in a means 4 to obtain a positive copy image through transfer. When the photosensitive layer L is heated by a heater 8 and is irradiated with infrared rays of an infrared-ray lamp 9, it is recovered from fatigue. |
