PURPOSE:To enable development at a low temp. and to enhance the raw stock preservability by forming the 1st layer contg. a diazo compound and a specified resin on a support and the 2nd layer contg. a coupling component on the 1st layer and by adding a thermally meltable auxiliary coupler to the 1st layer or the 2nd layer. CONSTITUTION:The 1st layer contg. a diazo compound and a homo- or copolymer of vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, styrene, (meth)acrylic ester or olefin is formed on a support, and the 2nd layer contg. a coupling component such as resorcin, naphthol or a deriv. thereof is formed on the 1st layer. To the 1st layer or the 2nd layer is added a thermally meltable auxiliary coupler such as caproic acid amide, higher fatty acid ester or polyalkylene glycol. Thus, a heat development type copying material developable at a low temp., having high raw stock preservability and giving a high density picture with low ground density and high contrast is obtd. |
