The device is based on at least one memory containing the decompression parameters of a table of diving depth and times. It estimates and compares measured values of diving depth and times with those contained in the memory. At each moment of the diving, the total climbing time (15) including the imposed decompression stages (16) depending on the duration (13) and on the depth (14) of the diving may be displaced, and/or there is provided a device which transforms, for going to a new depth, the real base time in a time equivalent to this new stage. A single air/water interchangeable pressure sensor is used comprising preferably a piezoresistive cell. LED diodes are lit, if the maximum climbing speed is exceeded (10), if a decompression stage is reached (11) and if the device is out of work (12) by exceeding the time and/or the depth. |
