PURPOSE:To reduce storage capacity of an ROM which is necessary for a resident initial test routine, by constituting so that a microprogram routine which is being executed i halted in case when an error has been detected, and it is shifted to the following step in case when no error has been detected. CONSTITUTION:In case when a parity error has been detected by a parity checking circuit 5 in the course of a scan test, the circuit 5 outputs a command 201, an AND gate circuit 13 does not output a command 206, and a scan instructing FF14 remains held in a set state and outputs a command 207 continuously. Subsequently, in case when AND with the commands 201, 205 and 207 has been obtained, an AND gate circuit 15 for outputting a command 209 outputs the command 209 for instructing to stop the operation, to a microinstruction address updating circuit 9. |
