PURPOSE:To reduce an overhead of address conversion by providing an address conversion buffer for converting logical addresses of a virtual computer into absolute address of the virtual computer, and speeding up the conversion. CONSTITUTION:If address conversion information is present in an address conversion buffer 60, a logical address 10 of a virtual computer is converted into an absolute address 40 containing a page frame number 64 from the 2nd page frame number 63 and the in-page address 14 of an in-page address part 12 in an address 10 in order. When no address conversion information is present in the buffer 60, another conversion buffer 50 is used and its contents are referred to by using the page number 13 of the page number part 11 of the logical address 10 as a key. Thus, the conversion to the absolute address is speeded up and an overhead of the address conversion is reduced. |
