PURPOSE:To improve the characteristic of the captioned cell in comparison with the cell in which natural iron disulfide is used, by using, as anode activating substance, synthesized iron disulfide which is obtained through heating reaction of iron oxide, iron halogenide, iron hydroxide, or iron salt of oxoacid, or the mixture thereof in the atmosphere of hydrogen sulfide in nonexistence of oxygen. CONSTITUTION:In the nonaqueous electrolyte cell in which iron disulfide is used as anode activating substance, the synthesized iron sulfide which is obtained through heating reaction of iron oxide, iron halogenide, iron hydroxide, or iron salf of oxoacid, or the mixture thereof in the environment of hydrogen sulfide in the nonexistence of oxygen is used as iron disulfide. Iron salt of oxoacid etc. such as iron oxide, iron hydroxide, iron carbonate, can be used besides ferrous chloride as the starting material for preparing synthesized iron disulfide serving as anode activating substance. The heating reaction for the above starting material is carried-out in the environment of hydrogen sulfide in the nonexistence of oxygen, and the proper temperature reange for heating is approximately 200-600 deg.C. |
