PURPOSE:To povide a titlted device which separates castings and molding sand efficiently without damaging the castings by grasping the vertical mold in the final end position by means of clamps on a stationary table, and moving the same by means of a walking conveyor. CONSTITUTION:When a vertical mold 2 carried on a mold conveyor 1 arrives at the final end position of the 1st stationary supporting table 24, the parting line in the final position is detected with a detector 14 which in turn moves a carriage 6, so that the vertical mold 2 behind the final end position is grasped by means of the grasping plates 12 of supporting members 10. In succession, a walking conveyor 20 is advanced by the operation of a cylinder 21 and the mold 2 in the final end position is grasped by the grasping plates 50 of L-shaped supporting members 22. When the conveyor 20 is retreated by a pitch L, a casting 29 is separated on the 2nd stationary supporting table 25, and a sand mold 30 is transferred by an ejecting plate 27 onto a sand recovering conveyor 28. |
