PURPOSE:To easily obtain a small size device for measuring ion concentration in a living body which can perform a high-pressure steam disinfection and is excellent in durability, by a method wherein a semiconductor ion sensor is mounted to a forward end of a tube and a connector to a rear end, and the inside of the tube and the connector is filled with a water resistant insulating resin. CONSTITUTION:A gate part 2 of a semiconductor ion sensor 1 is exposed at an opening of a forward end of a flexible tube 4 such as polyolefin, polyethyleneterephthalate to house the sensor therein, and an insulating water resistant resin such as silicon resin is poured into a space between the forward end and a connector part 5 whereto a connector pin 10 of a lead wire 6 for the sensor 1 is attached, and is cured. A reinforcing core wire such as stainless wire is embedded in the tube 4 to prevent the deformation of the tube 4 and improve a strength in a direction of a length. This prevents the occurrence of disconnection and short-circuiting due to enterance of moisture into a device, and obtains a sensor which can perform a high-pressure steam disinfection in order to measure ion concentration through insertion of it into a living body, and is excellent in durability. |
