PURPOSE:To improve serviceability and to reduce the ineffective processing of an exchange by making a call connection with an terminating subscriber on the basis of a delayed call request signal from an originating subscriber. CONSTITUTION:The states of an originating subscriber 1 and a terminating subscriber 2 are read in a central processor 12 through a monitoring device 9. When the subscriber 2 has an incoming call while engaged with the 3rd party through a trunk 6 in a state (a), the subscriber 1 receives a busy-back tone through a trunk 3. Once the monitoring device 9 receives a delayed call request signal from the subscriber 1, the state is changed into a state (b) and the subscriber 1 is connected to a trunk 4 to receive a delayed call tone. Then, when the free state of the subscriber 2 is detected, the subscribers 1 and 2 are supplied with a ringing tone from a trunk 5. |
