PURPOSE:To reduce man-hour of work and improve rivet calking efficiency by pressure welding a rivet supplied to the guide pipe of a pressure welding fitting between a calking pin in the pressure welding fitting and a calking fitting in vertically movable supporting member. CONSTITUTION:A hole 52 of a material 2 to be calked and a hole of calking material 1 are fitted to a centering pin 49 projecting to upper face from a calking fitting 9 in a supporting member 11. When a rivet 3 is supplied into a guide pipe 14 through a chute 19 and a piston rod 34 of a calking cylinder 6 is raised, the fitting 9 rises from a position shown by full lines to a position shown by one-dot chain line, and the tip of the pin 49 is fitted to a hollow 15 for alignment of the rivet 3. At the same time, the supporting member 11 comes into contact with a abutting member 12 and rising is stopped, and the cylinder is moved downward.
