PURPOSE:To easily take out jam paper, by supporting a pressure roller having an axis being in parallel with a heat roller, by a rocking end of a pressure lever, and driving the pressure lever so that the pressure roller is made to press- contact with the heat roller or is detached from it. CONSTITUTION:In a state that a heat fixing operation is executed, a driving roller 239 is abutted to a stopper projected to the lower part of a pressure lever 204, and a pressure roller 203 supported by the pressure lever 204 is made to press-contact with a heat roller 200. In a heat fixing stage, when copying paper winds itself round the heat roller 200 or the pressure roller 203 and paper jam occurs, the pressure roller 203 is detached from the heat roller 200 and is displaced to the lower part by turning a handle 240 counter-clockwise round a rotary shaft 237, therefore, copying paper which has caused paper jam can be taken out to the outside easily. |
