<p>PURPOSE:To recover a gas containing high purity methane by removing carbon dioxide gas from a gas generated in an acid producing procedure and blowing said carbon dioxide gas into a gasified slurry of a gasification procedure in a two phase type treatment of an org. waste material. CONSTITUTION:If an organic waste material such as a sewage sludge or an excretion is thrown into an acid producing procedure and treated under an anaerobic condition, a gas containing hydrogen, methane and carbon dioxide is generated. This gas is sent into an absorption tower 2 and contacted with an absorbing agent to remove carbon dioxide, thereafter blown and mixed into a gasified slurry in a gasification tank 3. Thereby, the hydrogen in said gas is converted along with carbon dioxide gas from the gasification procedure into methane by the action of a gasifying bacteria. As described above, high purity methane is obtained by a two phase type digestion method of an organic waste material.</p> |
