PURPOSE:To enable the desirable change in the front-to-rear distance between seats, by providing a seat slidable forward, backward and sideward. CONSTITUTION:A seat 1 and a slidable seat 2 are juxtaposed. Rails 4, 5 are laid on a base plate 3 for the slidable seat 2 so that the rails extend in a front-to- rear direction. Sliders 6, 7 are provided on the rails 4, 5. The upper portions of the sliders 6, 7 are coupled to each other so that a sliding body 8 is formed. A guide cylinder 9 is provided on the sliding body 8. A rotatable cylinder 10 is supported on the guide cylinder 9. A seat frame 11 is secured on the cylinder 10. A bottom 12 etc. are provided on the frame 11. An appropriate number of front- to-rear positioning holes 14 are provided in the side portion of the rail 4. A front-to-rear positioning jut 15 is engaged in one of the holes 14 to adjust the front-to-rear position of the sliding body 8. A turn positioning jut 19 is engaged in the turn positioning hole 18 of the guide cylinder 9 to adjust the rotation of the cylinder 10. |
