The machine comprises a feeding mechanism, a stamping press equipped with a stamping die with several punches which can be shifted into position either singly or together by means of a lever without the need of arrest the driving motor during the feeding and removal cycles. There is also a receptacle for the finished pieces of stamped out metal sheet. The latter is constructed so as to be capable to collect a predetermined number of sheets which may be sprayed automatically before hand with a suitable substance and then compressed and if necessary heated up to effect during and formed into finished cores.
