PURPOSE:To increase the execution speed of a program by providing a field memory for storing the contents of a field to be modified, and modifying the program dynamically. CONSTITUTION:In a field memory address register 30, the address of an instruction to be change is set. Then, a register 30 is specified by an address switching circuit 31 with an instruction, and the contents of a field to be modified are written in a memory 32 by a program. The circuit 31 selects an address register 33 and instructions specified by the register 33 are fetched and executed successively. When the field M of an instruction register 36 is ''1'', a field switching circuit 35 is switched to a memory side 35 and the contents of the memory 32 are replaced by the contents of a program memory 34. Thus, the contents of the memory 32 and those of the program memory are modifed dynamically and at the same time, instructions are executed. |
