PURPOSE:To allow an operator to obtain a desired representation speedily by including KANA (Japanese syllabary) in the priority of conversion by a KANA to KANJI (Chinese character) conversion system. CONSTITUTION:A pressed key is scanned by a key read part 1 and its data is stored in an input buffer 2. For the data in the input buffer 2, a key for starting conversion is pressed, and then a KANA word string conversion part 5 is started. Characters of KANJI corresponding to the KANA inputted with the key are displayed successively until a desired character is obtained. When, however, the KANA word string is outputted in KANA recently, ''1'' is given to information on KANA representation selection hysteresis. Consequently, even when the character kind of the word string is not specified specially, KANA representations are outputted for the string. |
