PURPOSE:To obtain a two-component type copying material giving a copy which maintains the picture contrast over a long term by using a specified grained beta- oxynaphthoic acid-aromatic amide as a coupling component. CONSTITUTION:When a photosensitive layer composed chiefly of a diazo compound and a coupling component is formed on a support, a grained beta-oxynaphthoic acid-aromatic amide represented by the formula[where X is (substituted) phenyl, naphthyl or cyclohexyl, and Y is halogen, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy or a sulfonic acid group], e.g., beta-oxynaphthoic acid-(2'-methoxy)anilide is used as the coupling component. A two-component type copying material giving a copy which maintains the picture contrast over a long term because of very slight fading of the picture and very slight coloring of the ground is obtd. |
