PURPOSE:To blast cool air from a side ventilator as demanded by connecting the suction port of a side vent duct to the more windward part than a heater core. CONSTITUTION:Since a suction port 19a of a side vent duct 19 opens at the proximity of a mixing door 12 in the windward of a heater core, all the cooling air in the proximity thereof will be carried to a balst port 19b of the side vent duct 19. By adjusting the opening of a side ventilator grille 20, cool air may be blasted at a desired rate and in a desired direction when desired. If the interior of the car is exposed to the afternoon sun and hence requires local cooling, namely at the left or the right side thereof, the local cooling may be performed as demanded. |
