The guide has a reservoir (1) taking a reserve of mortar and guides (2b,3c) that cooperate with the front and or rear face of the course of breeze blocks below for alignment w.r.t. the breeze blocks. It also has elongated openings (11,12) onto the top face of the breeze blocks extending longitudinally w.r.t. them, being connected to the reservoir to allow a gravity flow of mortar. The holes are edged, on their two longitudinal edges, with flow guides (8a,10c,9b) that extend between the openings and the top face of the breeze block.
