In the case of a radial rolling bearing cage which is round-formed from a flat metal strip and is preferably guided in the outer rolling-element track, the flange-ring sections connected to the webs and the webs themselves are set back radially inwards by forming. This ensures that the cage, which is, in particular, a half-shell cage, retains its exactly cylindrical form after the process of round forming, that the web edges do not come into contact with the outer rolling-element track and that lubrication between the flange rings and the outer rolling-element track is improved.
