PURPOSE:To reduce a mutual interference operation, and to obtain a directional pattern of a low sub-pole, by feeding electric power to each of 2 array ultrasonic element groups on which an ultrasonic vibrator has been provided alternately, by an independent feeding circuit. CONSTITUTION:An array type ultrasonic vibrator is formed by the first vibrator element group to which arrayed ultrasonic vibrator elements 1-7 have been assigned, and the second vibrator element group to which elements 1'-7' have been assigned, the first and second element groups are fed by each independent feeding circuit V, V', and in one feeding circuit, a mutual interference correcting delay element phi is provided on each piece. According to such a constitution, for instance, since the element 2', and 2 and 3 belong to different vibrator groups, respectively, the element 2' operates as a shielding body regarding ultrasonic vibration in the middle of the element 2 and 3. Subsequently, the mutual interference operation is corrected by adjusting a phase difference of the ultrasonic vibration by the element phi. In this way, the maximum electric power is obtained and the directional pattern is elevated. |
