In the case of the proposed fastening arrangement, the end of a helical spring (1), which end has no hook or eyelet, is pushed over the cylindrical attachment (7) or shaft of an articulation head (2) and a number of turns are secured by a transverse pin (3). The insert bush (9) arranged in the articulation eye (8) of the articulation head (2) can be fixedly screwed on any machine part with the aid of a screw (4). As a result, the end of the helical spring (1) is definitively fastened, it being capable, however, of moving freely to the required extent in all directions. <IMAGE>
